Must. Could. Should. Would. CAN
I bet I’ll be back here for billion times and will be redefined probably in all of my thoughts not less than… But here we go with my thoughts today.
Most of us are put in that “pattern world” from the childhood. We know what we must do. Also we are regulraly reminded of what we should and could.
“You must wash your hands after the walk. You should become friends with new neighbors’ kids. You could tell us the truth…” Sounds familiar?
That would not be a post about childhood.
From the start of the war thoughts were in the air… About what should I do? What is right? To hide? To fight? To scream? To panic? To keep silence? To help others? To volunteer? To leave the country or not? To leave my family or not? … and more, and much more…
Just now, in weeks, after a lot of things happened, I got one thing (well, few):
- There is no RIGHT. It never existed. But now it becomes absolutely obvious — there is a choice done by you. It can’t be right or wrong, as long as it’s done by you.
- There is no MUST or SHOULD. There is no even any COULD. You are the owner of your decisions. No one will come and tell you what to do. Even if someone will, please re-read the rule #1 and never forget.
- You CAN. That’s all you need to know.
The circumstances in Ukraine help to be yourself without masks. Never loose this lesson. Keep it in your heart.
